This is more like the moment just before that. When things are still in motion, but moving toward rest. The Quieting came out of that feeling. The palette is soft: blush, warm cream, a whisper of blue, and most of the canvas simply holds still. There's one place near the center where the energy collects, where marks layer and the color gets a little warmer....
